At Koch Independent Wealth, social responsibility is core to our ethos. Based in the heart of Durban North, founders Anton and Helen Koch, together with Rayne Dancaster, established EnviroFixers Durban North in 2018.

Through this initiative, they have transformed the once-neglected Bridgevale Nature Reserve by continuously clearing invasive alien plants, planting over 2,000 indigenous endemic species, and rewilding the area. Today, the reserve boasts over 80 bird species and is enjoyed daily by visitors seeking its restored natural beauty and peace.

The EnviroFixers movement has since expanded locally and has inspired other communities across the country.
